F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 Spanish GP

Antonio Giovinazzi (P16): 5.5/10
Alfa Romeo appeared to really lose their way in Spain. The team was absolutely nowhere - not even Kimi Raikkonen could magic up a solution to the team's acute lack of pace in Barcelona. Antonio Giovinazzi was actually faster than the wily old Finn in FP1, but after that normality reasserted itself and he found himself bumping along in the bottom quarter of the standings for the rest of the weekend. Saddled with a second successive gearbox change grid penalty for the race, his team tried to strategise their way out of the situation with an early pit stop to put him on hard compound tyres. Unfortunately it really didn't work, and even a mid-race change of plan couldn't revive his fortunes after that.
