F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 Spanish GP

Kimi Raikkonen (P14): 5.5/10
Up to now, Kimi Raikkonen has been making Alfa Romeo look good by finding a way to wring something extra from the C38 every race. But Spain proved a step too far even for the Iceman. Struggling to find a workable set-up that didn't exist, he was only 18th fastest in FP1. He rallied in subsequent sessions and somehow managed to get through to Q2 on Saturday to claim 14th place on the grid but that all went went sideways when he went off in turn 4 on lap 1. It dropped him down to dead last, and he spent the rest of the afternoon labouring his way back up to where he started. Kimi actually did better last time out in Baku when he was forced to start from pit lane!
