Romain Grosjean (P10, 1 pt): 7.5/10
Haas were one of the teams with something to be happy about in Spain. Ever since the opening race in Melbourne, the team has performed well in qualifying only to fall flat on their faces in the race itself, due to issues getting the tyres into the optimal temperature window. But new upgrades for the VF-19 this weekend seem to have addressed much of the problem right from the moment Grosjean tried them out in FP1. In the race itself he held on to his qualifying position of seventh for much of the Grand Prix - until rudely punted off track by his team mate at the safety car restart. We're not blaming Grosjean for that, but it was the second clash with Carlos Sainz that lost him even more positions. An unfortunate way to finish what had until then been a very strong weekend for Grosjean.
