Nico Hulkenberg (P13): 5/10
It was a tough time for Nico Hulkenberg, who was forced to start the Spanish Grand Prix from pit lane after Renault had to switch back to an older-spec front wing under parc ferme conditions. But let's be honest, that was Hulkenberg's fault in the first place, the result of an entirely unnecessary accident at the start of qualifying when he locked up and ran off into the barriers to damage the original component. At least he had a decent, solid race, and would have finished ahead of his team mate if the powers that be hadn't decided to switch the cars around in the laps following the safety car restart. Ultimately the curiously depressed pace of the R.S.19 in Spain meant there was little more that he could do this week.
