Sergio Perez (P15): 6/10
It's been a troubling weekend for Racing Point, which seemed to be right back at square one in Barcelona. The car's poor pace is not Sergio Perez' fault of course, but it did mean he was left hung out to dry. He labelled it "a weekend to forget" and we can't disagree. Friday was particularly bad when he was unable to match his team mate for pace in practice, but he made some progress on Saturday and even succeeded in getting through to the second round of qualifying. He made up two places at the start of the Grand Prix and was running fairly consistently in 13th for much of the afternoon, until things slipped away in the last third of the race and he ended up right back where he started.
