Nico Rosberg - 4th place, 12 points - 8/10
Not everyone will agree, but Rosberg had one of his best races for Mercedes until the final lap. Looked quick all weekend and was blameless for the suspension failure in FP3 which forced him to start from sixth on the grid. After a good first stint, impressive pace on the soft tyre saw him undercut all those in front of him to lead after the first pit stops. Lost the gap he had over Hamilton under the safety car but held him off until THAT incident. Correct to defend robustly on the final lap when battling for the win, but didn’t try to make the corner and created the situation which saw the two Mercedes drivers collide. Ultimately was the only man to lose out in the situation, and he’ll hope it doesn’t come back to haunt him.
