Felipe Massa - 18th place - 3/10

Described it as “a terrible race”, which tells you almost all you need to know about Massa’s day. His struggles started in Q1 on Saturday, when the Brazilian lost control on an out lap and hit the barrier, eliminating himself from qualifying on a circuit where grid position is so important. The knock-on effect was the car rebuild left him with a steering rack problem which needed rectifying before the race. The steering was still an issue once he took up his slot on the grid and Massa could make no progress at all.
