Made an excellent start to climb from 20th on the grid to run 16th by the time of his first pit stop, but the car didn’t have the pace to stay in the midfield fight. The lack of competitiveness was highlighted during the first round of pit stops, with Wehrlein back in 20th after the stops had taken place, and he ended up two laps down by the end. Not a circuit that played to its strengths, Manor will be more competitive elsewhere.
