Singapore - In the heat of the night
Since its first appearance on the Grand Prix calendar, Singapore has grown to become one of the most popular venues for F1, but the Marina Bay circuit, flooded with artificial light, is also a stunning workplace for the F1 photographer.
"I love street circuits, but Singapore is definitely one of my favourite races, although it’s a frustrating one to tackle as a photographer because of the lack of windows in the fencing," admits Laurent.
"Blending the night element into a shot is a real treat, thanks to the contrasts which can really single out a car and its lines, like here with the Mercedes. But in certain areas, the light is so bright that it completely eliminates the city's spectacular backdrop. Definitely one of the most difficult venues to work at."
