"This is another take on the rear-end shot," explains Charniaux.
"Shooting the start from the front is obviously crucial, but you also follow through as everyone packs into Turn 1 and then exits. Unfortunately, Suzuka is basically the only track where you can get a "normal" straight-on start shot and also a rear shot.
"The congestion here, as seen from behind, underlines the proximity of the cars, and therefore the drama, while the contrast is also aesthetically appealing. The light is always great at Suzuka."
