China - Danny Ric's victorious leap of faith
It was a massively challenging year for Daniel Riccardo, and one that has been well chronicled. For all the disappointment and misfortune endured by the Aussie in 2018, it did start on a positive note with a win in the third race, in Shanghai.
"The great thing about Daniel is that his natural good spirits go into overdrive when he gets a good result," says Laurent.
"That means there's no holding back when it's time to celebrate, and it all makes for a very visual display of joy, like here in Shanghai, when he triumphantly leaped from his car. He's such a popular figure, and always a fun subject to shoot, whatever the circumstances."
