F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 Belgian GP

Robert Kubica (P17): 5.5/10
It was business as usual for Robert Kubica this week, which unfortunately is not good news for the driver or for the Williams team. He was slowest in Friday's practice sessions and a clean sweep was only averted by Alexander Albon focussing on race simulations in FP3 rather than speed trials. A gearbox change and overnight changes before the race following his qualifying blow-up meant he started from the pit lane, and on a power circuit like Spa there was no chance that the FW42 would be able to improve on last position for the rest of the afternoon. Adversity for other drivers such as Raikkonen and Magnussen did briefly lift him off the bottom during the afternoon, but by the end the natural order had been restored. On the plus side, he was only lapped once this week, and the gap in laptime to his team mate George Russell in terms of laptime was only around half a second, less than it's been at some previous shorter circuits.
