F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 Chinese GP

Lando Norris (P18, Retired - Lap 50): 6/10
After his success in Bahrain, it was perhaps inevitable that Lando Norris would encounter his first bump in the F1 road. That came in the form of Daniil Kvyat's Toro Rosso sliding across the road in turn 6, and the contact briefly threw the McLaren into the air. It was a miracle that the car could continue at all, and Norris did make up some places during the race before parking with six laps to go. The race stewards found Norris blameless in the original incident and we're not going to disagree with that, but it meant he couldn't really show what he could do at a circuit that didn't really suit the MCL34 in the first place.
