F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 Chinese GP

Sebastian Vettel (P3, 15 pts): 7.5/10
There's just something not quite right with Sebastian Vettel this season - and we're not referring to that deeply unfortunate moustache which must surely be affecting the Ferrari's aerodynamics. How else to account for how far off the SF90 continues to be compared with Mercedes? Vettel just seems a little deflated, and his mood wasn't helped when he lost a place at the start to his irritatingly young team mate Charles Leclerc. Team orders were an unfortunate way to get the position back, but it proved crucial when it resulted in Vettel going wheel-to-wheel with Max Verstappen after the first round of pit stops. It was the best on-track battle of the afternoon, and Vettel finally looked more like his old self as he succeeded in robustly defending what turned out to be his first podium position of the season.
