Alexander Albon (P9, 2 pts): 7.5/10
Alexander Albon hadn't exactly caught the eye during practice and qualifying in Bahrain, flying firmly under the radar in the Toro Rosso to line up in 12th place on the grid on Sunday. But he made up for it in the race itself where he seemed to be in the thick of the action every time you looked, starting with a proper duel with his Toro Rosso team mate Daniil Kvyat and then tussling with Pierre Gasly to try and get himself into the points for the first time in his fledgling F1 career. While he wasn't able to dispatch the Red Bull, the gods were kind to the rookie and a double Renault DNF ahead of him saw him unexpectedly - but rather deservedly - promoted into the top ten after all. Sometimes the breaks just go like that.
