Max Verstappen (P4, 12 pts): 7.5/10
By Max Verstappen's standards, Bahrain was a rather subdued affair although by no means a bad one for the Dutch driver. While Mercedes and Ferrari always looked out of reach of Red Bull this weekend, Verstappen eked the best performance there was to be found in the lacklustre RB15 and was solidly fifth place or thereabout all weekend. He survived an early scare when Carlos Sainz made a lunge down the inside - the McLaren coming off the worse for the encounter - and thereafter engaged cruise control to put in the miles and reach the finish line. He picked up an extra position when Sebastian Vettel spun out and was unlucky not to pick up another when the engine in the second Ferrari put Charles Leclerc's podium place in jeopardy. Valuable points, but not really the way Verstappen would prefer to earn them.
