F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 Canadian GP

Robert Kubica (P18): 4.5/10
And now we come to the regular part of the ratings in which we desperately seek some sort of silver lining for Robert Kubica. Unfortunately it's rather slim pickings this time. For a start he didn't even take part in FP1, sitting the session out in favour of Williams' reserve driver Nicholas Latifi. He was then the slowest car on track in FP2 and FP3, and seven tenths off the pace of his team mate George Russell in qualifying after admitting that he had been fighting the car and struggling to get grip and handling. The same was true in the race itself and he was off the lead lap after just 11 tours of the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Again, about the only bright spot for Bobby K was the fact that the car once again managed to go the distance.
